Description
Matsui Shuzo, the company behind the Kurayoshi whisky brand, began as a shochu distillery in Tottori, Japan, in 1910. Over the years, they expanded into sourcing and selling imported aged malts, but it wasn’t until 2017 that they began distilling their own whisky. The Matsui label represents their first fully ‘Made in Japan’ release, with this particular expression aged in Japanese Mizunara oak casks.
