Customs and Import Duties

Alcoholic products are subject to taxation in Cyprus.

Any extra charges incurred due to customs clearance must be paid by the recipient. We do not have control over these fees and cannot estimate them, as customs regulations vary significantly between countries. For more details, please contact the recipient’s local customs office.

All orders are fulfilled using The Art Of Whisky order completion service, which means The Art Of Whisky handles packaging and shipping on behalf of the seller. Delivery options and fees will be shown during checkout. To view them, add your selected items to the shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Once your order is placed, we will be notified immediately and you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Your order will be dispatched using the delivery method chosen at checkout. After shipment, you will receive a tracking number from the assigned courier to follow your order’s progress.

Currently, products listed on The Art Of Whisky can be delivered to the countries supported at checkout. Depending on the destination country, your order may be subject to local taxes and import duties once it arrives. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid in full to clear customs.

Your orders are securely and professionally packaged with materials appropriate for each specific product. We ensure that packaging meets the standards and guidelines set by official shipping providers.

Shipping Insurance

Where shipping insurance is available, it will be applied according to the courier or shipping option selected. Please contact us before ordering if you need specific insurance information for a high-value bottle.

Delivery Information

Delivery charges are calculated based on the destination and the total weight of your basket. Available options and fees are shown during checkout.

Cyprus – Locally

Local delivery or collection options may be available at checkout depending on the order and destination.

Europe

European delivery is available to supported countries and is subject to courier availability, customs rules, and alcohol import restrictions.

Rest Of The World

International delivery outside Europe is available only where courier and customs rules allow alcohol shipments. Customers are responsible for checking local import rules before placing an order.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of your basket, destination, parcel size, and the selected delivery method.

Standard Delivery

Standard deliveries are made during working hours, 8:00–19:00, Monday to Friday. A signature may be required upon delivery. Orders are normally dispatched within 2–3 working days. Delivery charges vary based on the destination, weight, and size of the parcel.

Express Delivery

Orders should be placed before the specified cut-off time; otherwise the parcel may be dispatched the next working day. We cannot be held responsible for external delays. To receive an order before a specific date, please order in advance to avoid disappointment.

Click & Collect

For collection, please bring your confirmation number and a valid ID or driving licence.

On Time Delivery

We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy on delivery times because deliveries are handled by third-party delivery agents. Delays may occur due to weather, customs, or other circumstances outside everyone’s control. If a package is delayed, please contact us by email and we will assist where possible.

Damaged Goods

We carefully package every order to help ensure it arrives in perfect condition. However, parcels may sometimes be damaged in transit. If a parcel appears damaged or leaking on delivery, please refuse the order respectfully and contact us as soon as possible.

Delivery Addresses

We can deliver your parcel to an address other than your billing address, provided someone of legal age is available to sign for it where required.

Delivery Restrictions

Post box deliveries are not allowed. If an invalid delivery address is provided, we will contact you for a valid address, which may delay dispatch.

Norway does not allow purchases of alcohol above 60% ABV.
