Description
Hailing from Nicaragua this rum is most likely produced by the Flor de Ca?a distillery renowned for its dry estery profile. Distilled in 2004 it spent ten years aging in ex-bourbon barrels in Nicaragua before being transported to France for an 18-month finishing period in wine casks at Maison Ferrand’s cellars in Cognac. The fermentation process lasted two days and the rum was distilled using a column still.
