| The 1970s Grand Marnier Cordon Jaune was the brand’s now-discontinued entry-level expression, once available only in select European markets. Unlike its more famous counterpart, it was made with neutral alcohol and contained no Cognac, classifying it technically as a triple sec. This was the original version of the Marnier liqueur, to which Alexander Marnier later added Cognac to create the iconic Grand Marnier Rouge. The Cordon Jaune was officially discontinued in 2017 following Campari’s acquisition of the brand. |
