Description
This special 12-year-old Laphroaig Cairdeas was released in 2009 to celebrate the anniversary of the Friends of Laphroaig programme “Cairdeas” meaning “friendship” in Gaelic. Bottled in a limited edition of 4000 for the Islay Festival of Music and Malt (F?is ?le) it was matured in hand-selected Maker’s Mark bourbon barrels and marks the first release overseen by distillery manager John Campbell. As the second edition in the Cairdeas series it is a rare and highly collectible Islay single malt.
