Description
This limited edition rum is a part of the single cask series released by Plantation rum. The spirit was distilled using molasses by Long Pond distillery using the John Dore double retort pot still method. The rum was aged for 21.5 years in Bourbon casks in Jamaica, after being trasported in France to age for addional 2 years in Ferrand Cognac casks. Lastly the rum blend matured for 6 months in New York Distilling Company rye whisky casks. This is bottle number 227.
