Description
This bottle is the 38th release of the Tasting Gang which is a group of 23 Caroni lovers which met in Cognac to taste the last 173 Caroni barrels coming from Trinidad and Gyana. The specific rum is a blend of 22 different barrels that were previously a blend of heavy and light rums blended before being aged. Distilled in 1996 double maturation took place in Trinidad until 2008 and then at DDL in Gyana until 2019 making the blend a 23 year old rum. This rum is limited to 5083 bottles worldwide.
