Description
This single cask rum was distilled in 2010 at Distillerie de Jeanty the producer of Rhum Barbancourt located in Haiti. It underwent five years of tropical aging in ex-Bourbon barrels before being shipped to France where it spent an additional two years aging in ex-Ferrand Cognac casks made of French oak. The rum was distilled using a pot still plus a five-day fermentation process and was bottled in 2018.
