Description
The first 12-year-old release appeared in the 1980s matured in a combination of sherry oak and plain oak casks. It was available for several years alongside the popular 100% Sherry Cask 12-year-old until both were phased out in 1991 and succeeded by the Glendronach Traditional which was aged in both bourbon and sherry casks. When the distillery reopened in 2002 the Original 12-year-old expression was reintroduced.
